Hope Community Global Capital, Inc. (HCGC) is a U.S.-based investment and advisory company focused on helping Liberian entrepreneurs, developers, nonprofits, churches, community institutions, and strategic partners strengthen projects, access capital, and create sustainable economic opportunities.

HCGC was established around a simple belief: strong ideas need more than vision; they need structure, strategy, partnerships, and access to the right resources. We work with clients and partners to help shape viable opportunities, improve capital readiness, support project development, and connect promising initiatives with the relationships and expertise needed to move forward.

While our work is rooted in the United States, HCGC maintains a strong connection to Liberia and the Liberian diaspora. We believe a financially stronger, more entrepreneurial diaspora can create greater opportunities in the communities where Liberians live while also contributing to long-term growth and development in Liberia.

HCGC is led by a team of professionals who bring together experience in business, finance, real estate, project development, construction, community leadership, and strategic planning. Our leadership understands both the opportunities and the challenges facing entrepreneurs, organizations, and communities seeking to grow, invest, and build across the United States and Liberia.

What unites our team is more than professional experience; it is a shared commitment to creating opportunity, strengthening communities, and helping good ideas become viable, sustainable ventures. We bring a practical, hands-on approach to every engagement, combining industry knowledge, trusted relationships, and a deep understanding of the Liberian and diaspora experience.

Our leadership is driven by a long-term vision: to build an institution that creates value, expands access to capital and opportunity, supports meaningful development, and helps position the Liberian community for greater economic success across generations.

Watchen Harris-Bruce: Co-Founder /Chairperson

Watchen Harris Bruce is a highly accomplished banking executive, development finance leader, and community development professional with more than 35 years of experience spanning commercial banking, housing finance, small business lending, financial inclusion, and international development.
Most recently, Ms. Bruce served as President & CEO of Baltimore Community Lending (BCL), a U.S. Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), where she deployed more than US$211 million in real estate financing, supported over 4,300 affordable housing units, and provided financing and technical assistance to hundreds of underserved entrepreneurs.
Prior to BCL, Ms. Bruce led major USAID-funded economic development initiatives in Liberia and held senior leadership roles with JPMorgan Chase, PNC Bank, Fleet Bank, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, and Bank of America. Watchen's experience will help lead HCGC's impact and success in the US and globally.

Agustus J. Flomo: Co-Founder/Director

Augustus J. Flomo brings decades of experience in economic development, public finance, and policy leadership. As a former Deputy Minister for Economic Management at Liberia’s Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, Augustus has worked at the center of national economic policy, fiscal planning, public investment, and private-sector development. His experience provides HCGC with a strong understanding of Liberia’s economic landscape and the role financial inclusion and strategy can play in supporting businesses, entrepreneurs, and communities.

Michael Wotorson: Co-Founder/Director

Michael S. Wotorson brings extensive experience in investment promotion, economic development, and public policy. As the former Chairman and CEO of Liberia’s National Investment Commission, Michael helped lead efforts to attract domestic and international investment, support major economic initiatives, and strengthen partnerships between government, investors, and the private sector. His background helps shape HCGC’s strategy for investment, institutional partnerships, and long-term growth.

Bleejay Innis: Co-Founder/Director

Bleejay D. Innis brings a strong background in business development, entrepreneurship, real estate development and diaspora engagement. His experience includes housing development, construction management, project planning, and taking real estate projects from concept through execution. Through this work, Bleejay has gained firsthand insight into the challenges families, developers, and entrepreneurs face in accessing project financing and business growth. Bleejay's experience helps shape HCGC’s focus on entrepreneurship, real estate investments, and building a stronger financial bridge between Liberians abroad and communities in Liberia.
